Taking Down the Doughboy
These pictures show us taking down the old doughboy
swimming pool. We were actually able to sell the pump, filter, siding and
accessories. In fact, we made enuf $$ to pay for the black liner to use over
the pool's blue liner, and the sand, cement blocks and other materials we
needed to begin the pond!
We sold the pool to a hunting club. Seven men arrived and it took
them only an hour to take the pool down and pack it off!
The sides actually rolled up. The pool liner would have quickly
become hard and stiff if we had not kept water in it.
